NIHR New Media competition: a public judging session

Would you like to help the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) to judge its New Media Competition entries? The NIHR is funded through the Department of Health and supports outstanding individuals working in world-class facilities, conducting leading-edge health research focused on the needs of patients and the public.

We have asked our researchers to create short films that will have the effect of enthusing and informing patients, colleagues, friends, family and the public about their research. This is the 3rd round of the competition and we would very much like a public audience to help us to choose the winners. We received 25 entries into this round and these have been shown at two cafes in Leeds that has resulted in a final short-list.

Please come along to Café Scientifique in York on 7th May, where we will show the short-listed films and invite you to help us to pick out the winning entries.

All the entries from this and previous rounds can be viewed at www.youtube.com/user/NIHRInterfaces
