York Researchers’ Night 2015

York Researchers’ Night (Yornight)  is a European funded initiative held simultaneously in cities across the whole of Europe. On 25 September the University, in partnership with York Museums Trust, is hosting an evening of discovery in venues across York city centre to explore the fascinating world of research. A huge range of free activities and talks for all ages will take place: audiences will learn about the mystery of dreaming, find out the exciting discoveries made possible by light and hear from the experts who rediscovered Richard III. This unique night will end with a special live choral concert set to lights at 8.45pm in the ruins of St Mary’s Abbey in the Museum Gardens. For more information see the YorNight Brochure ’15 (pdf)
