Ancient excrement, why it is interesting: archaeologists researching ancient DNA
Dr Andrew Jones, University of York

Andrew Jones will explain these new processes with some specimens alongside details about his work with a primary school in Harrogate on ‘Whose poo is it?’ Which is developing into a project with Prof Becky Parker at Reading University and ‘Research in Schools’ for secondary science students.

There will also be a short presentation on YPS research projects by Catherine Brophy, YPS Chair
