Rain dance successful at last!

After several weeks of waltzing gently around the garden, hurrying out to hang up a line of tempting (ie to raindrops) washing whenever a cloud appeared and, in the absence of any Green Woodpeckers around here, listening to their call on the RSPB website, I’ve been rewarded with rain at last. These regular showers over recent days have provided enough moisture to be of real benefit to garden plants and crops, and the one remaining brown field visible from my window is finally showing a light covering of green.
