The Clerk in the Country

Rural communications

After a busy few days negotiating webmail and rural broadband to contact some members and sending out “paper” letters to others, it’s pleasing to start to receive replies that prove our messages are getting through. Unexpected hazards of working from home, when many others are doing the same, include a scarcity of ink cartridges for home printers and the limited capacity of a small rural post box. Should I find myself needing to send out a large-sized envelope, some ingenuity will be required.
