2019 British Science Week 8-17 March Citizen Science Project
Operation Weather rescue needs your help!
Every day since 1860 the Met Office has produced daily weather reports from across Western Europe. Much of this data has not been digitised so the challenge for British Science Week this year is for the public to help to digitise some of the 2.5 million entries in notebooks etc. from 1860 -1880.
How you can get involved:
1. During British Science Week, go to: http://www.weatherrescue.org and click “Get Started”
2. Read the instructions in the pop-up box and when you get to the end, select “Let’s go!”
3. Become a citizen scientist and help to tackle climate change!
