The Yorkshire Philosophical Society Annual Dinner 2026

It is our great pleasure to invite Members and their Guests to our Annual Dinner on Wednesday 2nd December 2026 at The Novotel York Centre, Fishergate, York YO10 4FD

The YPS Annual Dinner is an opportunity to enjoy each other’s company and meet members of YPS Council in a relaxed and welcoming environment with good food and conversation.

We are delighted to announce that our guest of honour will be Professor Karen Bryan OBE, Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive of the University of York St John. Karen joined York St John in April 2020 (just in time for the pandemic!). She originally qualified as a speech and language therapist at the University of Newcastle and her research interests are in communication difficulties in young offenders and forensic populations. The evening will also include a short Chair’s reflection on our activities and achievements over the past year.
