Two Cousins and a Piano
Dear Mr. Dickens……
Dear Mr Dickens is a light-hearted biography of Charles Dickens as captured through his letters, recollections ..dazzling dialogues and vignettes taken from his novels .parlour songs and music of his time (Arthur Sullivan included)
.celebrating the 200th anniversary of the authors birth. His visits to, and influence on Yorkshire are also illustrated. The event sees the return to York of Two Cousins and a Piano after their 2011 performance of “George, don’t do that…..” which was so highly praised by Derek Jacobi. It is again written by Catie Flye, writer, producer and well-known Shakespearean actress and is performed by a trio of gifted actors, musicians and singers including Catie herself.
The Tempest Anderson Hall and Museum Gardens provide a superb backdrop to what promises to be an entertaining and sociable evening.
It promises to be a thoroughly enjoyable evening with liquid refreshment and a chance to socialise during the interval. There is limited seating in the Tempest Anderson Hall, so book your ticket now to avoid disappointment by using the attached flyer.
