Engineering light microscopes: tools and tricks to see cellular detail
Light microscopes have been used to image objects for over 300 years. In the last 10-20 years, there has been a revolution in the way light microscopes have been engineered and in the tools available for imaging, which allows us to see with unprecedented detail into cells. Michelle Peckham will be explaining some of the basics of how these microscopes work, what we can see with them, and how this is starting to revolutionise biology.
