Event Information

Following the December 10th lecture, ‘Sun-powered Flight. How gliders work’, by Professor Andy Marvin, we will be holding our annual informal get-together, when we celebrate Christmas with a glass of wine or a soft drink and a mince-pie in the museum atrium. Everyone is welcome, and there is no need to book in advance. Tickets costing £4 will be on sale at the lecture. Do take this opportunity to chat to old friends, and make new ones.
In past years, a highlight of this event has been the variety of home-made mince pies and related goodies which have been contributed by our members. If you feel able to contribute to this year’s spread, do contact Margaret Leonard via the Lodge, or email info@ypsyork.org
