Event Information
It is our great pleasure to invite members and their guests to our Annual Dinner on Tuesday 2 December 2025 at The Novotel York Centre, Fishergate, York YO10 4FD from 6.30pm.
The YPS Annual Dinner is an opportunity to enjoy each other’s company and meet members of YPS Council in a relaxed and welcoming environment with good food and conversation.
We are delighted to announce that Professor Nicky Milner OBE has kindly accepted our invitation to join us as our guest speaker. Nicky is professor of archaeology at the University of York and has made a remarkable contribution to understanding human settlements of the Mesolithic period – not least Star Carr, near Scarborough, which features in a current exhibition at the Yorkshire Museum.
The evening will also include a short Chair’s reflection on our activities and achievements over the past year.
