The YPS offers members the chance to go on day trips and longer tours, visiting museums, historic houses and collections, libraries, gardens, archaeological and geological sites, etc, as well as ‘behind the scenes’ study sessions to delve deeper into the YMT collections. All these events plus social gatherings, such as the annual President’s Dinner, are coordinated by the Activities Group.
Activities Group meetings are very informal, and open to any member. We particularly welcome those who are prepared in any way to help suggest, organise and lead events. Events are published on this website and in YPS Newsletters – check the ‘What’s On’ page for upcoming events and details.
