Cancelled: Visit to the Castle Howard Arboretum

Wednesday 30th September 2026 2pm

Cost: £20 per person for an introductory talk at 2pm and entry to the Arboretum

The Yorkshire Arboretum, Castle Howard, York  YO60 7BY

We will meet at the Arboretum entrance at approximately 1.50pm for a 2pm start.  Please note the whole visit is outside, so dress for the weather.

There is a car park with ample parking.  The number 81 bus from York Station or the Stonebow takes about an hour and drops at the Castle Howard Estate entrance. It is a short walk to the Arboretum from there. Please check for bus times before you travel.  The Arboretum café is open from 10am to 4pm for refreshments before or after our talk.  The Arboretum has two tramper/mobility scooters. One can be pre-booked so add a note to your booking if you would like us to try to reserve it for you.

To join the visit, please complete and return the attached form together with your payment of £20 per person (see below).

Please enclose SAE if no email address available.
