Visit to Saltaire Village & Salts Mill
Thursday 13th March 2025 from 8.45am to 6.30pm
£36 to include coach, guided walk and Peace Museum visit per person
Our visit begins with a sit-down talk in the United Reform Church followed by a guided walk around the village buildings as we meet characters in costume from the past who will tell us their lives. After time for lunch from 12pm we will meet at Salts Mill for a 2pm visit to the third floor “Peace Museum” followed by time to visit the other exhibitions in Salts Mill before rejoining our coach. The £36 fee includes coach travel, driver gratuity, Peace Museum donation and £5 YPS admin.
Members of York Association of the National Trust (YANT) are most welcome to join us.
The Ingleby’s coach will leave from York Memorial Gardens at 8.45am. It will leave Salts Mill at 4.15pm for the return journey. Lunch is not included, there are several Cafés and the “Salts Diner” restaurant.
