Vertebrates of the Jurassic – November 2018
Full title – “Mammals, Dinosaurs and Sea Dragons of the Jurassic: recent developments in vertebrate palaeontology”
The Yorkshire Geological Society held a joint meeting with the YPS at the Yorkshire Museum on November 3rd. There were four papers on recent developments in the study of mammals, dinosaurs and sea-dragons of the Jurassic.
The main impetus for the talk is the recent exceptional and significant discovery of pliosaur fossil remains in a quarry near Scunthorpe.
