You can pay by any of the following methods:

1) In person
Give your completed application form and subscription payment in cash or cheque to a YPS officer directly at the start or end of a YPS lecture.
Alternatively you may call into The Lodge during opening hours [click here for directions and opening times]

2) Online
You can pay online using our PayPal account. Click here to go to our Payment page
Please indicate clearly in the “purpose” box that the payment is for membership subscription and the type of membership category (e.g. joint, single etc.).
Application form details can be emailed, posted or handed over in person – please indicate that payment has been/will be made via Paypal.

3) By Post
Send your completed application form together with a cheque payable to “The Yorkshire Philosophical Society” to:

Subscription rates

Go to the subscription rates page for full details of the latest rates.

Subscriptions are payable on 1st January each year. For new memberships starting part way through the year, the fee will be adjusted pro rata. Concessionary rates apply to persons over 60.

YPS membership is FREE for students in full-time education.  Student membership runs from September to August in line with the academic year.  Student members receive free admission to YPS lectures & Café Scientifique sessions, quarterly newsletters by email and updates & bulletins by email.  NB Student membership does not include the right to vote at the AGM or free entry to the Yorkshire Museum.
